A battle royale game is defined as a game genre that blends last-person-standing gameplay mixed with survival, exploration and scavenging elements within a certain setting. Such games involve a minimum of two and up to hundreds of combatants, who all start with minimal equipment and must eliminate other opponents while avoiding being caught outside of shrinking "Safe Zones".

Gods of Asgard employs this same concept within its game via the use of NFTs as the actual and playable game characters.

Players entering Gods of Asgard will focus on the following game mechanics:

  1. SPAWN Gods will spawn on the map, near the edge of the Safe Zone. Enemies will be randomly scattered throughout the whole map area. From here on out, a test of skill, agility, strategy and foresight await all willing participants.

  2. SURVIVE Explore the vicinity around the Safe Zone. Gather items, equipment and upgrades to survive. Hunt and cook to fill your consumable staples. Initiate battles against the enemies.

  3. FIGHT Engage and defeat enemies encountered in the field. Small, common enemy tiers may prove easy to defeat in a heads-up match, but fighting multiple targets simultaneously may result in a harder challenge than anticipated.

  4. VICTORY AI-enhanced enemies will need to be vanquished to win the battle royale. Common enemies of varying difficulty levels along with stronger and more difficult boss enemies will need to all be defeated. A final boss will spawn on the map after a certain amount of elapsed time or dead enemies. Spoils go to the God standing victorious.
